Application background
There often needs a dimension measurement of the work piece, such as the diameter, height or thickness. There are many kinds of traditional instruments to measure these dimensions. However, they are not quite efficient, especially in the on-line measurement. Our LDS has high precision and can realize non-contact measurement, which will never damage the work piece surface and will greatly improve the production efficiency.
Measurement scheme
The on-line measurement needs a combination of automation and high-precision. Most dimensions can be converted into one dimension. We can realize an overall measurement through scanning several faces of the work piece.
There are 5 models of LDS-S, which is LDS-S-010/LDS-S-020/LDS-S-050/LDS-S-100/LDS-S-200 respectively. The linearity of LDS-S can reach 0.1F.S. and the sampling frequency is up to 4KHz.
